Artemis II space mission
>>
>>84272390
Why don't leftists care about science like MAGA does?
>>
>>84272390
I thought earth was tilted and spinning.
I thought the moon was farther away. These niggers can't get their story straight.
>>
>>84272399
Billions of dollars to accomplish nothing
>>
where does the piss and shit go
>>
>>84272399
This was put in place by Biden tard trump didn't do this his first term
>>
WHY DID THEY LAUNCH ON APRIL FOOLS DAY?
WHY DID THEY LAUNCH ON APRIL FOOLS DAY?
WHY DID THEY LAUNCH ON APRIL FOOLS DAY?
>>
>>84272433
I know that's also suspect, maybe they wanted it to be on a sort of memorable day, maybe it's to take the piss out of people who think it's fake, maybe it really is fake
>>
>>84272390
We already been to the moon, any more money that goes into space really needs to go to mars and space colonization/space mining, the timer is running out
>>
>>84272390
imagine needing to take a shit that whole time
>>
>>84272399
Didn't MAGA defund agencies like NASA last year?
>>
>>84272399
If Kamala was president, miggers would be correctly pointing out this is all DEI bullshit but now it becomes Tel-Aviv Trump's "accomplishment."
>>84272421
Billions of dollars to accomplish what we did 50 years ago. This program is absolutely retarded on every level. But NASA is literally just Congressional pork barrel spending with good publicity, all the science they do is ludicrously overpriced. We're about to lose the space station we spent tens of billions on because NASA is funding this shite rather than spending money on reboosting it.
>>
>>84272443
its totally to make fun of ppl who think its real
>>
>>84272842
Going to the moon and getting a proper base there is important before going to mars. ISS is basically a glorified space hotel. Though if you gave nasa even a fraction of the defense budget it would easily be able to do both.
>>
>The mission is expected to set several human spaceflight records. Glover would become the first person of color, Koch the first woman, and Hansen the first non-U.S
You can't make this shit up, so trump is officially the war AND dei president now? Migapedes can't stop losing
>>
>>84272950
Trump is not in charge of who they select and you know any crewed mission was going to have some tokens. At least they put a couple white guys on it.
>>
>>84272877
What's on mars?
>>
>>84272966
The start of our future in space. Surely you want humans to go to the entire solar system and even beyond maybe.
>>
>>84272956
Trump is commander in chief, he can do whatever he wants, and he chooses to raise gas prices and kill americans for israel
>>
>>84272983
nasa isn't military, he can't order them to do shit.
>>
>>84272975
Humans will go insane if they are separated from Earth for too long. They aren't built for any other environment.
>>
>>84272877

ISS is literally our only laboratory for long-term research in gravity that isn't 1g. That includes Moon gravity research BTW, since we can bring up a small centrifuge to test moon gravity on rats (this itself was only very recently done, and they only tested Mars gravity). And reboosting the ISS, even if it were decommissioned entirely, could be the gateway to building a tether system which would reduce cost to space since the ISS would act as a tether counterweight. This would make building and operating the next space station even cheaper because it makes reusable rockets more efficient and carry bigger payloads.

The Moon is just a place best explored by robots. There's literally no reason for humans to be there until you have a space hotel or lunar industry is complex enough that 2.6 second lag time becomes unacceptable (and with modern AI, a robot can now easily adjust if the lag fucks it up). But even then, there's nothing on the Moon beside tourism and theoretically a cheap supply of oxidizer for refueling rockets. The actual value in space settlement beside maybe space solar power is the 0g environment which makes for better crystal growth for medicine, metallurgy, computer chips, etc, but right now the cost to space is too high and these super products don't offer enough advantage to make up for it. Redoing the Apollo program with DEI isn't getting us anywhere new.
>>84272950
This was done by the Biden administration, but because Trump is president he takes credit for it and is now claiming DEI is good (just like war, high gas prices, and fucking kids is now good under Trump).
>>
>>84272975
I don't because it would just be places for the Epsteins of the future to fuck kids, or virologists to make super covid (assuming we can ever kick all the Ralph Baric gain of function types off Earth), or AI freaks to make rogue AI to kill us all. We only need space for a few things, and we have plenty of living space on Earth, especially if we colonize the ocean. Space would be good for eliminating pollution by sending our industry there and making supermaterials you can only make in 0g. But you don't need to go past the Moon to do any of it. Hell, that one asteroid Apophis that will come super close to Earth in 3 years has many years worth of resources inside it and it's only like 250 meters across.
>>
>>84273627
oh my goood SHUT UP ABOUT EPSTEIN ALREADY
>>
>>84272515
We got at least a good 50 years left. Gen Delta Bravo Charlie is cooked lol
>>
>>84272402
Those are all true statements? The image isn't to-scale? The Artemis is not larger than a continental US state??
>>
>>84273680
NOT UNTIL THE LIST GETS DECLASSIFIED NIGGER, GET YOUR RETARD GODKING TO GET TO IT BEFORE ONE OF US TAKES MATTERS INTO THEIR OWN HANDS
>>
>>84272859
I was watching the news broadcast of it and both news anchors snickered to each other. I don't think they even take it seriously
>>
>>84273680
Not in a trillion years
>>
>>84273680
Are you guys still talking about
JEFFrey
ePHSTEIN
>>
>>84272390
Kinda stupid that the burgers spend all that money and NOT land on the fucking Moon for the first time since 1972.
We need a FTL drive to have any hope of sending people to other star systems.
>>
>>84274626
They plan to by 2028. You can't just send people back up out of nowhere, you gotta test the next tech if you don't want to spend even more money rescuing someone from the Moon. Besides, just getting them down Apollo-style to take a little walk is retarded, right now they are aiming to build a permanent module in orbit of the Moon which can be used as a base for constructing a colony on the Moon itself. And once again, all that needs to be tested.
And FTL will never happen because it's impossible by all currently known laws of physics
>>
>>84274626
We spent nearly half of the total programs estimated budget alone just lobbing missiles into Iran which humanity is getting nothing out of that
>>
>>84272399
most magites don't even believe space is real
>>
>>84273008
>Humans will go insane
Already are
>>
>>84272399
What are you talking about? Lefties love fund social science economics.
