My parents pushed music and guitar on me from a very early age. Trying to get me to listen to old rock music and artistic stuff. Just decided I should learn to play guitar when I was 9.

I hated it because I did not know anything about music and I sucked so bad at guitar. Parents never made me practise they just decided I would play guitar and assumed I would take to it. Never did. They were confused.
Parents would just go on about it and play it all the time. I did not get it and it really wound me up. Ended up hating music so much so I rejected it as a teenager. Thought I was tone deaf. Was always embarrassed by conversations about music.

I think with some hobbies you just need to not force things.

Whenever I try to form a hobby or look into an interest, I realise more and more how utterly unremarkable I am as a person. I struggle even to muster the energy to invest time or effort into anything I do. I've tried basically everything, from academics, trades, video games, media, literature, music, philosophy, even tried becoming a wageslave workaholic and yet everything seems so futile. I played platformers and nintendo shit as a kid but I am too old for this.
played overwatch with my e-date and he got frustrated from me sucking and it ended our e-relationship.
played fall guys for one day and got bored.
played persona 3 for a week and got bored.
currently I only play rhythm games, mainly project diva.
I think rhythm games are the only type of games I like to play.
so gaming can't be my hobby.
