I think this kind of one sided attacking perspective is going to create more problems than it solves. Just because a few malicious personalities exist doesn't mean there is a network of such groups that should be considered harmful. You can't regulate what men consume online. Doing so might lead them to become more resentful especially young boys, who might end up becoming even more rebellious.
Pretty obvious it's a network now, culturally enforced by the way you can monetize ragebait online.
>>84277662its pretty irrelevant at this point when entire internet has been restructured into a rage machine regardless of political affliction. people are aware of it but still take it.
>>84277662>>84277801>everything is ragebaitYou literally sound like twitter troons calling every single thing ragebait or le AIslop. The truth is people really are this retarded, if you went outside you would realise this. No, this isn't DUH TECH OLIGARCHS it's the average persons retardation being on full display thanks to the self-funded surveillance state they sold to us. This is all the fault of the people, unironically.
>>84277643"The manosphere" is just a new label for the "incel movement" boogeyman from the late 2010s.
It's been a long time since I've interacted with the manosphere proper, but nothing about it seemed like it should draw attention. Mostly just old guys giving insight like you should probably at least know how to put on a spare tire, keep a few thousand dollars on hand for when something bad happens unexpectedly, basic diet and nutrition, and minimalist training for strength and cardio tips. Some of the weird less popular ones talked about basically giving up and if you can't beat the women play the same game of casual sex with everything that moves, but the loudest voices in favor of casual sex seem to be hardcore Christian now and stopped writing after recanting their previous works.Basic financial and health literacy is a good thing. Philosophy with scary Greek and Latin names only sounds scary. The arguments today are the same as they were 2,000 years ago. Pain is bad avoid it, pain is bad overcome it, pain is bad ignore it, pleasure good money buys it, pleasure good it means not in pain, pain and pleasure not real just wait it out and do the good thing, don't do just be. All are probably equally effective because having some kind of rationalization reduces anxiety and at least you know it's always been shit for people leading them to search for copes. The only bad thing about manosphere is it has man in the name and generally tries to help men learn basic shit their parents and church should have taught them.
>>84278111I'm so tired of manosphere premium subscribers posing as DUDE I'M TOTALLY NOT AFFILIATED, you sad virginal faggots are so obvious.no person who isn't affiliated with this grift has anything positive to say about it.
>>84278154They never charged anything, just blogs supported by ad revenue. Sometimes a guy would post an essay as guest and at the bottom is a link to his blog. That's how the internet worked back then. Write blogs, guest write for others and accept guest submissions to expand reach. It's an outdated business model because the internet moved on to video. Since I dont like video platforms I don't know what they do today. Probably the same except it's youtube instead of blogspot or wordpress. You can't get rich by ads writing for such a small group. 90% of the time the ads are irrelevant and half the readership uses adblockers and won't see them in the first place. Fact is poor people don't buy stuff. You seem to think it's this big movement but it was just your basic advice like steak tastes good so buy a whole primal and cut it yourself then freeze to save money. I think the only guy to make any real money from it was the guy who leaned into kitsch, art of manliness. It was only tangential because most of his articles were stuff like five great boxers from 1924 or how colonial America made cider and kept it in the springhouse. Over time he sold out and did sponsored content. Deleted his articles on how to use a straight razor and championed disposable plastic subscription razors. Can you honestly fault him for it though? He lost interest and stopped writing sincere articles. Most real projects only last two to five years. Early retirement blogs frequently do this. When the guy finally retires he stops writing and just keeps the site running even though he's not actively managing. Mr money mustache and early retirement extreme are examples. Mustache does contractor stuff for fun and drinks wine like a fish. Extreme guy is still living like a hobo but took up permaculture.Try writing an essay yourself addressing what you think is bad about manosphere and ask to publish as a guest post. It's a collaborative thing.
>>84278426>You seem to think it's this big movementdon't tell me what I think> I think the only guy to make any real money from it you're misinformed>Try writing an essay yourself addressing what you think is bad about manosphere giving grifters even more undue attention is the opposite of what a sensible person should do
>>84278482I don't know how to help then. I thought you were unhappy and decided to share what I liked about it. If you don't like that kind of thing that's OK too. What I described were only my experiences, they seem pretty nice and good hearted, so I hold favorable opinions. It's very different from what I've seen in other online topics. Others may have experienced something different, it's just not for them. Why engage with it if you dislike them?
>>84278111>>84278426I think you have a very romanticized idea of what is currently being pushed.Calling out grifters telling boys to be materialistic hustlers with no real skills or interests is a good thing. There absolutely should be another documentary but on what is drawing boys to these guys and showing some who are legit, giving good (free) advice.
This faggot has done nothing but hit piece "documentaries" his entire career
