The backrooms was never meant to be scary. More like a niche internet fairy tale. The most popular found footage often doesn't have anything attempting to be scary in it. Retards put "entities" (i.e. generic monster blob) in it because they were too ADHD to enjoy a comfy liminal aesthetic. Sometimes it's eerie, but it's about a niche vibe, not something to get nightmares over.The pool rooms are unironically pretty kino, too.
