man when i was 14 (read: 20 years ago LOL) i played America's Army 2 with a 30-something married couple on teamspeak a bunch and they were super cool to me. only child without much family, so it was really neat to have a sort of aunt-uncle type thing with them.but i bet it's awful different now. bring me back!

It kills me that we were all there together, roughly the same ages, just experiencing something awesome together for so long then one day you wake up and think about going back but its all gone, the games don't even exist anymore, the anonymous random players are now in their late 20s and working and living, you try to go back but nobody is there anymore.I especially think about the free models catalogue back in the day, all the people who created those cool things as young adults are now far far older and none of my old world exists anymore. Roblox is especially painful for this because they straight up erased half or most of the places and things that you could visit back then.I want to go back so bad and ask all those random players their names, make so many more friends than I did, just not let it all slip through my hands like it did.
