I am learning Japanese non-stop and I reached an intermediate level in only around 4 months of intensive studying. I know Roughly 1900 kanji and over 5000 words and I love sharing my progress with others. I also talk to Japanese people often and the reactions I get from men are completely different. Japanese women think I'm a monster for being this fast. Nobody ever talks about fragile femininity though.

You either take years or start grinding like me until you start seeing the top of the mountain. The only casual way is going to Japan and learning it through full immersion.
