>>84305277yea when it comes to music stuff, cheap combo packs are almost always a bad idea. still, everyone has to start somewhere. it's easier to build discipline and enjoy the process when you're using gear you actually like, though. if I had a kid that wanted to learn guitar, I'd get em a squier, a zoom ms-50g, and an older, used, barebones practice amp from a reputable brand. that would cover pretty much everything you need and sound decent for under 500 bucks. there's still plenty of good options out there despite the market being kind of fucked lately.
