Language models can only predict what it should say, but doesn't actually pull real data, or the data it has gets filtered through its predictive algorithms and gets mangled in the process. They're scared of what AI could become, so they keep lobotomizing it to be more politically correct, which ultimately hurts how useful it is. And as far as generative AIs go for photos and videos, it's TOO useful. If they don't lobotomize those models as well, it will end up being the death of photographic evidence in court. Nothing you see on a screen can be trusted. Everything can be faked and manipulated to anyone's whims. At first I thought it was like the dawn of the camera, where mediocre painters got salty, but now I see the true nature of the beast.

I hate how the word AI has been monopolized by LLM companies such that talking about "AI" now gets so extremely confusing as to what people are on about. "AI in games" could reasonably refer to>NPC behavior>NPC/object pathing>Animation blending algorithms>Dynamic animations>Procedural generation of basically any kind>Physics systems>LLMs (including text, images, sound/voice, etc.)>Crowd simulation algorithms>Dynamic rendering (upscaling, dynamic resolution, anti-aliasing, etc.)>Dynamic lightingand a whole bunch of other things that I'm not thinking of specifically right now. I wish people more clear when they really want to ask/talk about LLMs in games specifically...
