What's with the normie obsession for travel? It seems so shallow and performativeI've traveled and it's not something transformative. What I have learned is that people are people and mostly the same short of some major religious/cultural difference

It is shallow and performative as you said. There's a social perception of travel being associated with value/class and people love faking those things. They are of course unaware of their own brainwashing and will not understand even if it's explained to them as it will also potentially invalidate or invert their experiences from positive to negative and people would prefer to live in a sweet delusion even if it's just rotting them.

Mainly, proles need to relax from waging non stop, so they have to be conditioned to releax somewhere else. Their personal lives are so infested by their economic duties that they have to leave their usual environment to chill and they're willing to pay a fucking lot for it.Most people are neurotypical too.
