There is one by my old college that has been active for a long time. Every fall college guys disappear walking home from parties or late at night. Known to not drink and said to have not done so. Found in the river later dead. Cops say they were drunk and fell in. Well up river is a ways out if the city in the middle of nowhere. No sidewalks there. No one would ever be our there and certainly not by the water out there. The water can kill with hypothermia as well. 2 ex FBI theorized there was one active doing it but the FBI didn't listen. So we still see deaths every year.
