A small update
I've gotten my Birth certificate after some family hassle.
I've sent off a forum to hopefully get my national insurance number sent back
I am making progress anons, I want this to change but man I am terrified of joining the work force.

What are some suggestions for jobs to look for if you've got zero work experience, zero job history, don't really have any qualifications and you're looking for a part time job with little person-to-person interaction.
I want to ease into working and not stress shock myself

Going to be honest lad it's going to be very difficult for you to get a job without any ID or work history. You might have to resort to doing agency work because they take on any old cunt. Also being a carer for old people or disabled people practically hire you on the spot because they are that desperate for workers. Also are you fit enough to join the army? At your age they will take you on and train you.

There is work out there but in your situation you're going to have to start at the very bottom. Good luck anon, you'll need it.

The jobcentre wont do shit to help you look for a job. If anything the jobcentre should be renamed to the enforcement centre, their job is to enforce the rules they have set upon you.

>Have you been looking for work?
Yes
>How have you been doing this
By looking on indeed n that.
>Ok, great. See you in 2 weeks

That's it. Best they can do is help you write a CV and put you on a restart course (league of gentlemen lol) which is an over glorified job searching on their PCs in a little room in the back of the building.

I'm not talking about the benefits side of it, I'm talking about the placement programs they run, or at least used to run, they used to have posters up on the wall for them all the time back when I was on bennies. I would just run to shop n buy more once its done. If am tee total then I dont have problem with booze but if I screw it up n have 2 or 3 drinks I cant help having loads more. So its safer to jist stay off altogether.
What it mostly is is when the sun comes out It triggersmemories of past summers of drinking which when the years have passed u can look back with rose glasses. A lot of addiction is like this finking that if you repeat the conditions now it will re-create the initial good times.

If you claim universal credit you will be entitled to 400 pounds a month and you will have to go to the jobcentre every 2 weeks to "sign on". You have to do the searching for hours on end, they don't

>>84310527
Yeah I think that's going to be the first step after I get like, ID, national insurance number back, bank account, that'll be the first step, even if it fucking sucks and it hurts my body I need to just stick through it and suck it up otherwise I'm going to waste another 10 years like this.

Yeah I'm hopefully gonna set up a bank account in the coming weeks. I do have a national insurance number but I literally just lost it, for the longest time I got told by my dad "I gave you the card, I gave you it, you lost it" (same for birth certificate) but in reality he never gave me either of them and we didn't even get a national insurance number on a card, ours was just on a letter cuz they stopped doing cards

I've gotten my birth cert and the nin forum was mailed to them to request a new one, i might do it online or try to call them to see about getting it like that too idk.
>contact the school you attended they might have it on record.
The school literally doesn't exist anymore, it got demolished. It did merge with another highschool so I might try to call them and ask, so that's actually a good shout thanks anon.
>>84310594
I don't really care about the benefits part of it anon, but if they can help me get into courses to just...learn something, anything, so I don't have to do retail or caring for old people I'll do it.
Ideally I would love something outdoors and with my hands but not too intense just yet.
I mean hell, even if they can put me on A path or even help me write a CV it's better than what I can do on my own right now.

It will sound daft but I substituted it with soft Mints. The extra strong ones frm tsscos Trebor strong Mints. It kinda is jst for something to do with your mouth. I was unemployed and they stuck me on a civil service course but one where they had guaranteed year contracts, was two weeks and very boring but I'm on my second extension and upper managerberg due to the sheer length of time it takes to get people past the level 2 enhanced security clearance then to actually train them said that they'd make me permanent soon as they are expecting more work to come in and I must say, if you want an absolute doss job that requires no quals attempt the civil service, civil service bootcamp its called. Fuck I do nothing all day its lush and no one bothers me, 2-3 days wfh a week, 2 pay rises in the last year as well.

That's not quite right. The issue is that people in the UK don't understand what extreme poverty actually looks like. When individuals like SSM and HHL can still access benefits to buy large TVs, game consoles, and holidays, it shows there's no hardship in Britain, even today living standards in Britain are very comfortable overall, regardless of how bleak you think it is.

Widespread riots occur when people feel that their conditions are so bad that the risk of change might offer a better alternative than their current situation and until that happens Britain will keep declining.
>>
>>84310986
>Widespread riots occur when people feel that their conditions are so bad that the risk of change might offer a better alternative than their current situation and until that happens Britain will keep declining.
Not even close to a hard rule though. Look at South Africa, Zimbabwe, Iraq or any other failed state. Historically their material conditions were far better, even outright prosperous. Today they are what they are, but there were no mass movements of the sort. People just sort of... did nothing as their countries collapsed around them.

That's not really a like for like comparison. Countries like Zimbabwe, or Iraq have very different political systems and have authoritarian rule - protesting carry serious risk like death. People don't "do nothing" they have to weigh up the cost of do I risk protesting and maybe die or do I keep earning 100 dollars a week to feed my family. And South Africa have had protests and uprisings, they just didn't always succeed or they were suppressed
Brits can protest without much risk involved.
>>
>>84311074
>Brits can protest without much risk involved.
But only if the government approves. You can BLM riot all you want, the police will let you vandalise and set fire to shit and pull down public statues and the government will even openly declare their support for you, but the moment you get out on the streets when an immigrant stabs three little girls to death BOOM literally 24/7 emergency kangaroo courts set up with the sole purpose to convict you (not even try, the purpose was convictions, pre-determined).

It's asymmetrical. If you take to the streets to demand actual real change that would positively affect the country you will be shut down immediately. If you take to the streets to demand more of the same gay race communist managed decline, the government will applaud you the entire time.

Manufactured consent.
>>
>>84311125
>If you take to the streets to demand actual real change that would positively affect the country

Why would people take to the streets when support like PIP, housing benefits, and child benefits is provided as safety net. It's much easier to hop on benefits than stand outside in the cold and rain.

uh oh bad news I literally did that in college through to a masters paired with work experience since 16 - 24 volunteering at various sites including even being an assistant national trust ranger leading volunteers, last one during my msc was part of a biobank and despite applying twice couldn't even get a job directly for them because they outsourced recruiting. I ended up unemployed for 4 months until I got onto that course, other mates were in a similar predicament and ones who did manage to find direct work earn less than me which is shit because you have to have a car and drive for those jobs and either you take a pay cut for them to fund it or you do it out of your back pocket. Games gone, this country is awful so I cant even be arsed, I once had ambition and now I wish to do as little as possible.

Given that we have universal suffrage, even suffrage for non-citizens (LMAO!), literally any diminishing of the franchise is preferable and would produce better results.
Personally I'd have something like the following restrictions:
>employed
>permanently resident for minimum 3 generations
>aged 18-80
>zero criminal record

Of course this will never happen so it's just fantasising but yeah would be a fucking DAMN sight better than what we have now with every fucking roadman, dosser and retard able to vote.

they need to go north to Edinburgh where Rockstar Games are making a murder simulator where players kill people for fun.

then they need to go south to Games Workshop in Nottingham because they sell games where children role-play in dungeons as dragons.

I mean you can quibble over what requirements should be placed on voting, but the very fact that literally the only people who cannot vote are prisoners currently serving a sentence of more than 12 months is fucking insane. Literally every single other person can vote, and of course the prisoner can vote once released as well.

Not one restriction? Nothing at all? Not a criminal record, not employment status, not dual nationality, not immigration status, not home ownership or family formation or net tax status? Not even a hard rule on citizenship? (all commonwealth citizens can vote, that's the better part of 3 billion people)

It's just straight up a democratic ratchet designed to allow the bottom 51% extract resource from productive people.

it makes no sense to me how Britain's town centres are actually dead, yet developers keep building retail parks.

you can have parking spaces AND 'walkable' towns, that's what a town centre is for. some of the post-war buildings look like mad Star Trek places that were built to last. they're not going to knock them down, but they're not going to put them to use, either?

Its mad cause my local town back in the 1990s was proper bustling. It had all the usual shops. Woolworths, WHSmiths, Ethel Austins, BHS etc. Now it's barren. Like empty with nothing but charity shops, Turkish barbers and casinos. Everything else is boarded up.

Everyone just moved to the city and left the towns to rot. To be fair, this doesn't seem to be just a British thing. I noticed it when I went to Japan as well.

mate you look at places like dundee n the dundee city centre is fkn dead, no shops, no events, the only thing you see is uni students walking around or refugees or migrants idling around the place. Literally what the fuck do the council spend money on.
>>84311821
Yeah big Dundee was like that in the early 2000s too, I remember kicking about the town with my gran visiting woolies, WHsmithes, shops dedicated entirely to selling mirrors and glasswear, toy shops, sweet shops, there was always stuff going on in the town. Now it's like walking through an a wasteland. I've not been to Glasgow or Edinburgh in years but it feels like those two cities have just absorbed most of the people and...stuff?

i get that online shopping has killed towns but the shops charged so fkn much and never adapted, still though it's so depressing to walk through ghost filled streets

>qrd on suburban Japan?

Akihabara is in the city so not really relevant but a lot of the villages and small towns outside of cities are basically dying because the kids who are born there don't want to live in a dead town. They want to make money and have opportunities, so they move to the city. The towns end up just old people who slowly die off and the town becomes a ghost town. The kids have no reason to ever go back.

I think the same thing happens in the UK. The people who don't leave just get hooked on drugs or whatever and the places fall apart, like Blackpool.

It's what you get instead of the full state pension. You only get the FSP if you have at least 35 years of NI contributions. You get pension credit if you don't meet that criteria. But pension credit entitles you to WAY more who value is for lots of people greater than the total value of their FSP. This is what you get on pension credit that you do not get on FSP:
>Income top up (Up to 11,000 a year)
>Housing benefit (Up to 12,000 a year)
>Full Council Tax reduction
>Free TV licence

Yeah I dipped very fast. We were all sat around a table in a bar, the most nerdy looking fuckers (myself included), and nobody was really speaking. Then finally, someone spoke and went
>Whats your guys most favourite subreddit
Then some dude was like
>WorldNews because I love reading about current events!
And it on like this for a while, bear in mind we were at a bar with live music on and they were talking about their favourite subreddits. Then finally, they moved to a new place. And the awkwardness continued with most of them just kinda being quiet and only maybe 3 people speaking. I just said I had shit to do and bailed. Another guy then walked out after me saying the same thing.

Idk what I expected desu.

Yes, by law your employer is required to enroll you in a pension scheme, but these are mostly lower paying than the state pension and we're talking about the sort of people who either don't have jobs their whole lives or who are so high time preferenced that they choose to withdraw their private pensions early.

If you worked cash in hand your whole life to avoid taxes, or are a boriswave care worker who arrived in Britain in your 40s and are now worrying about retirement fear not! Pension Credit is here to help.

Oh and of course it's tax-free. Oh and I forgot attendance allowance which could be up to another 6k a year cash in hand tax-free.
>>
>>84312730
Pension credit is a top up not a replacement to state pension.

Always wanted to go to one, well when I was younger, in my 30s now and more comfortable at clubnights aimed at older people. Reckon mdma and k is the right sort of thing, bit of coke is fun but on its own won't get you in the mood. The mmcs will of course.

how is lorry life like, i've always wondered
>>
2 pints weren't enough.
>>
>>84314307
in what way? if you dont have a life, or want to have a life outside work then its honestly pretty good, just be prepared to get home, jump in bed nearly straight away, straight up and to work and count yourself lucky if you get 8 hours sleep, but the return is good money at least
>>
>>84314317
is the money that good tho? My uncle does artic lorry work where he transports frozen food stuff up and down the country and he always seems broke. He did the car transporter stuff with eddie stobart and i think that was better money.
I've never asked him what work life really is like cause he's not a very talkative open person but yeah, he gets in, goes to bed, gets up at 3-4, leaves, gets home at 6pm, makes his tea and eats it, sleeps at like 7.
Is there no hgv jobs where like... you can have a life?
>>
>>84314374
the money is good just because we do so many hours, if everyone was regularly pulling 14-15 hour shifts then theyd be on good money too, most of them would probably be making more than us, on artic work its alot of long hours and usually unsociable hours, if you stick to rigids then youre more likely to get some 7am-5pm shifts or something along those lines but then the hourly rate isnt as good, my rate is 17.50 per hour flat rate, ive got enough experience to probably get 21-24 bong per hour with a different company but the work wouldnt be as easy

That's fair, I always thought the trucks looked really cool, I remember my uncle always joked about sneaking me on one of the eddie stobart car transporters with him for a day. Back when we were still in the EU I think he done a few trips on the shuttle trains to the EU to pick up a load of cars or something.
That shit must've been such a cool vibe. Do you ever get lonely or are you kinda just used to the antisocial aspect of the job?

Also what is the training like, sorry if i'm being prodding, it's just interesting and it could always be an interesting job to try to do for a few years
>>
>>84314441
>Do you ever get lonely or are you kinda just used to the antisocial aspect of the job?
i dont mind it really desu lid, before this i did alot of warehousing so i was used to working with people, its strange getting used to spending 95% of the working day on your own but i dont really mind it
>Also what is the training like
to get your license? honestly a pain in the arse, theres medicals, eyesight tests, theories and practicals and CPC aswell, if you end up going for it my advice is to find a training school that will sort all those out for you, my training cost 3,200 with all first time passes, that was in 2023, no need to apologise lad, ive tried to turn a few people onto driving for a living, most hesitate because the trucks look too big and theyre scared to drive them but thats honestly the first thing you get used to about them
>>
They pulled Ian Huntley apart like wet tissue paper.
>>
>>84314522
Yeh, I've been in a few with my uncle just sitting around and we're done short trips, like he'd pick me up from one end of the city and drive me around just before he does his delivery, drop me off, normally like a 15-25 min drive. Felt really cool to be in them.
I think the problem is I've got dogs so I don't think I could do that to them, leaving them on their own all the time, no gf or wife to look after them so I guess it would be a pipe dream for now anyway.
>get your license
I'd probs pass the medicals but the eyesight test...ehhhh, I'm meant to wear glasses but I've never wore them, mainly just cause I've got poor eyesight in 1 eye.
Autistic like but I've played a good bit of Eurotruck, doubt that translates to understanding how to drive but I at least understand how trailers kinda move mentally, how it actually feels is another story
>>
>>84314552
>I think the problem is I've got dogs
yea that would be a bit much, one of the lads at my old place was like that and he ended up leaving, honestly if youre lucky enough to drop onto a pretty small, easy going firm i bet some of them would let you take your doggos along, i did play euro truck simulator about 10 years ago before i even seriously thought of becoming a driver, from what i remember it does a pretty good job of teaching you the basics of dragging a trailer around, and a quick check on youtube tells me that it would still do that but the mirrors on the game are fucked up and it makes it look like your trailer is about half a mile long stretching into a black hole kek
>>
>>84314584
>would let you take your doggos along
nah nae chance like, two big bastard rotties in the cab, not a shot, fuck carrying the heavy bastards in and out the cab too

mate yeah the mirrors are fucked if you change your FOV, if your FOV is high so you have normal view out the front window your mirrors are zooming into space.

My friends want to go to pattaya Thailand, the main one is saying he wants to get a prostitute for a week (as well as a ladyboy, IMO). I said yeah sure, but now I'm thinking nah. Thought about it last night, and I'm going on a 3 day beachcomber holiday. Fuck it. Do a holiday for me at my pace, doing what I want.
This is what i need.

That's it, plus I don't want to be going on a week long all day drinking and whatever else. Plus it looks like a night on that walking street (main street full of bars and prostitution and stuff).
Plus it's a long flight, and doubt my body would appreciate that now (yes I am old, but also have MS).
I just need to work out the logistics of it all as I don't drive.

This has always seemed like a total load of wank to me and obvious, blistering cope. There are endless examples of horrendous things happening to innocent people for which there isn't even any conceivable rationale in terms of positive moral development elsewhere/in others. I three year old getting mauled to death by wild dogs doesn't benefit anyone in any way. To claim otherwise is just saying outright that you're a moral coward and can't face the clear reality that there is no grand plan, there's no reason for suffering etc.

Religion always has been and always will be cope of the highest degree.

It's genuinely the worst thing to have a gf and find out she simply doesn't want your favourite kinky thing in the bedroom at all. It feels gutting, because you know it's irrational to some extent, people don't choose their little kinks, it's all arbitrary and yet to hear that it's not going to happen feels like someone opened up your chest.

The Green immigration platform really is just fucking nuts.
>anyone from anywhere can arrive with or without a visa (you will be given one on arrival)
>can change visa at any time
>work visas entitle you to all benefits, full access to the NHS and voting rights from day one, no exceptions or requirements
>criteria for work visa is minimum wage, no language requirement, no savings requirement, income threshold abolished i.e. you could work one single hour at minimum wage and be entitled to your visa
>no forced removals whatsoever
>any arrival, legal or illegal, with or without a job, with or without criminal history can apply for settled status after 5 years

Truth, atheists worship themselves as gods.
There are people who if they found irrefutable proof for God's existence would still choose not to follow him. They simply don't want to. They believe they are the last word on everything. Atheist psychology.

Alien religion has been under construction for years, getting rolled out incrementally, mongs think space ships with little green men are buzzing about even though there are no reports of such a thing prior to 1947 when the idea was invented.
This will be the new (fake) religion the oversocialised middle class will latch on to while patting themselves on the back for how clever and advanced they are.
>The aliens landed. They have been watching us they stepped in because we made nuclear weapons. They want us to live in peace! We must dissolve nation states and become one people to follow the aliens! They know best for us!
Bro, when the aliens land, all the people on earth will be united as friends! They all follow this John Lennon style globalist slop cult. Religion for atheists.

Truth nuke. Every human is religious in some way. If you don't worship God you will worship something else - yourself, money, sex, your race, your favourite musician. In the bible this is known as a false idol. It doesn't mean those things are bad, but they don't work as objects or worship put before God because they are temporary while God is eternal. This is kinda one of the main points of the Bible. There is nobody who is just "not religious". You do worship something. So choose wisely.
>>
>>84316969
A lot of people have replaced God with politics as their religion these days.

If you see Goodness as anything that draws ppl closer to God then it does make sense. As ppl end up in relationship with God, closer to God via many different diverse paths. If you define Goodness as ur subjective personal pleasure then sure, but that is only your opinion, everything is jist opinion in your morally subjective world. U should reas the gospel of John nd pray for faith because God is real nd you will find out the easy way or the hard way nd I don't want that for you the second one. God loves you.
>>
>>84316763
God is Good.
Jesus said only God is good. (Mark 10:18)
So everythignt that gets us closer to God is directed towards good as He is the ultimate good. That can be a pleasurable experience leading to him or a difficult one. An atheist can't rly.say what's for the best or worst. It's just opinion. Different atheists jabe different opinions. So why would you eben be bothered.
>>
>>84316782
Bc the Bible says God desires everubody to be saved
>This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth
>1 Timothy 2:4
As God is Goodness itself and he wants all to be saved it is logical that He would work the bad (separation from Him) in our lives into good (being with Him).
Whilst leaving us able to make enough bad choices IF we want to that eventually we can't be saved anymore if we really.want to reject him. As he wont force you to love Him but will give you the grace to know Him and learn ehough that you would.make a free choice to love Him. That's why it's important to learn this ASAP. As life is very short.
