So it was the edgey Gen X thing that millennials came in and were in awe of. Gen X were pioneers and independent rebels against retarded cable watching boomers. So millennials who lived in comfort showed up in the comfortable time of the internet where libertarian aspect was dying but not dead. Watch the Skyrim reveal at e3. They grew up to cringe and try to destroy the evidence of this. Because millennials are such a large generation compared to what came before and after, they took over the tech industry, their weird virtue signal crusades mostly work. Sanitize.
