At the moment 800gbp, it'll go up once I get some paperwork and assessments done. It's not bad considering that I have no expenses and 12k banked

Not bad, thats 920 euro, more than enough to enjoy a few things. You live with your parents? How old are you btw
>>

Did you get assessed as a kid or adult? what's an adult assessment like? I'm almost 100% sure im autistic, but my retarded teachers and parents didn't pick up on it when i was in school despite me obviously having something going on

>im a bit weird so i must be autistic
incredible. adhd and asd are not mild, you are neurotypical, just weird, antisocial and unintelligent

23 and I live with my parents. Moved out for a bit but failed spectacularly, probably going to stay where I am until inheritance trickles down

I was assessed as an adult after a few years of waiting. People suspected it for my whole life though not even my parents thought to tell me until I tried starving myself to death a few times.
I had to fill in a questionnaire and have a 3 hour chat with a psychiatrist. It was just lots of questions about my life. How I respond to change, people, how I found education and they were constantly taking notes on my behaviours as I spoke. It could've been longer but by the hour mark they seemed sure I had it

i can't deal with loud noises, i get overwhlemed easily, i cannot pick up on peoples body language, i cannot go to the shop on my own and im almost 30, i have no friends, im above average iq, i can only eat specific foods or i gag and throwup, i have been like this since i was a kid

i'm 85% the same as you. 2 therapists told me i might have slight overlap with asd symptoms, but not more than 20%.
im telling you, living with actual asd is 10 times worse. we are just a bit fucked up, just like most people are in some way

Sounds alright. They're nice and understanding or mostly passive?
You can stabilize for a year or two and try moving out again when you know yourself better.

>12k banked
thats hilarious. in the US you're not allowed to have more than 2k banked if you're receiving any kind of autismbux.

They're understanding for the most part. I think seeing me fail to adapt to highschool and then face-planting the moment I got a taste of adult life softened them a bit.
I might try again someday, it's nice here but living with my parents forever seems a little suffocating

Here they just reduce the amount you get paid depending on your savings, the max you can have is 16k before they cut you off
