I've met Zoe and she's a totally chill, decent person. Most of her games were entirely free and there wasn't any financial incentive for her. Her only "crime" if you can even call it that was having romantic interests who happened to work in the same industry as her. That's completely fucking normal - everyone wants to date someone with the same interests and passions. I'm "guilty" of the same thing and so is basically everyone else who was working in the industry at that time, except none of us had chuds digging into our personal lives for no reason. I wasn't around for gamergate and I don't really care about game journalism. I play video games if I want to and I don't if I don't want to. I don't care about Sarkeesian or Quinn or Wu in particular, although I do think it's both funny and virtuous to mock feminists and trannies for their retarded opinions.The thing that interests me about gamergate is that it was the catalyst for a broader shift in culture. Anyone growing up around the same time as me would agree that, sometime after Occupy Wall Street and the 2012 election, western culture drastically shifted towards an overwhelming preoccupation with politics of race, gender, and sexual orientation. Anyone who isn't retarded would agree that this was a problem.
