Most of the time people calling you a 'good guy' are just being polite. It might be true but it doesn't matter, the result is the same - not actually valued as a person.

But if you are actually a 'good person' it's probably because you were born with a soul and morals unlike 99% of the world population and the only answer I have found to this situation is suicide so as to stop acting in ways that benefit the amoral sociopaths that are the average human being.
