And it's important to note that his initial attitude isn't driven by bad experiences, for the introvert this feels like just the most natural way to be, he might not even get how the hell the extravert can naturally function otherwise, usually projecting and assuming secret aims or desires behind extraverted behavior(which might exist, but for the genuine extravert they are barely conscious or completely secondary).
