In America, the DEA limits the amount of controlled medications that can be produced if made here, or be imported if made in another country. With how many children with ADHD just have Ritalin or Adderall shoved into them just so their parents don't have to deal with them, it takes away a lot.

Even as a child, I take stimulant holidays. I only take mine when I need to. Most of the time at home, I don't need it. Because of it, I have a large stockpile. A lot of others w/ADHD do the same becauseof the shortage. I would use non-stims, but none of them work for me, and Strattera and Qelbree I have severe side effects. I'd like that so I'd have a steady level going on at all times without it wearing off like stims do. But, oh well.
