I'm a 98 zoomer. Started browsing around 12-15 on /b/ and moved to /r9k/ later. There was an e-girl era of /r9k/ that came distinctly around the time reddit got a cleanup (things like r/incel). These discord weirdos were incredibly toxic compared to the regular users, or millennials.Every day there would be atleast 3-5 threads on ciara horan. And possibly more on other e-girls. These threads on ciara were basically bullying her everyday and then she OD'd and died. Then that other girl got her head chopped off. After that things changed. The gays moved in and everything became merged.
