It's a natural desire for copium. Nobody wants to believe that the world is unfair, that what they have been given is just due to the circumstances they have been placed in. In my defense there was a crowd of people around us in the moment and I did it immediately. As though my intention was to squeeze her cheeks first and ask questions later.
