Can someone please explain to me why the millennial and boomer women in my family seethe when I tell them that Im not interested in dating, marriage, or having children? I try to explain my reasoning by mentioning current societal issues and divorce trends but they wont listen, instead they spout the same counterarguments over and over:>You can't have an opinion on dating because you've never experienced it.>It's not all women.>So what, you plan to be a bachelor your whole life?>So I won't become a grandmother?>Who will take care of you when you're older?>I'm sure you'll change your mind, [insert name of cousin here] got married last year.>Are you gay?>Statistics arent real life.>Do you hate women or something?>You just have to meet the right girl.>What about the family name?>YOU'RE SELFISH REEEEEIts as if they cant fathom the fact that I will be alone my whole life. Does this scare them? It's exhausting having these conversations at every family gathering, and I have a cousins wedding to attend next month. You should see the look on their faces when I say that I do not want to get trapped into paying child support or alimony when the marriage inevitably fails. I've seen so many people that I know get cheated on and their lives are subsequently upended by their whore girlfriends and wives. It's truly an epidemic. And on top of all of that, theres a growing STD problem with people lying or not reporting their infections (HIV, HPV, Hepatitis, Herpes, Trichomoniasis, Scabies, Crabs, Ureaplasma, etc) and knowingly spreading it to other people. I just cant trust people, least of all women, so forgive me if I don't want to participate in this humiliation ritual.Any advice?

Sounds like it's time to be a man and cut them out of your life completely. They don't respect you and won't listen no matter how much you explain, so just leave without a word and never speak to them again. I ghosted my family and it was one of the best decisions I ever made.
