All coworkers are enemies. they will genuinely make a little compartment in their brain to store every little thing you have ever done or said while in their presence and use it as ammunition should the need ever arise. It so hard to find a balance as well because if you just do your work without interacting with everyone they will they you are some sort of asshole and then they'll have their little agendas.
