I've had this lingering cough since February. Just when it's almost licked it starts over again with the sore throat, runny nose, cough, and so much lung butter it's a choking hazard.
Lungs are clearly irritated when it flaring up because I can hear the rubbing sounds the membranes make. Almost like a harmonica. Medicine is bad but I sometimes wonder if a week of steroids might be just the trick to clearing up the recurring infections. It seems defenses are never fully back up to 100% before another sickness causing agent is introduced. But steroids suppress the immune system so I guess it could also make it worse.

Gt it checked out asap. Prolonged infection can cause your bronchi to become trannies (they dilate), which causes the mucus to just stew in there and then you die slowly by mucus stew. Steroids can help but if the doc gives you fluoroquinolone with the steroid however, know that the lung doc wants to hand you to the bone doc next so watch out for that!

clean your fucking room and put an air purifier in it
