As a NEET, why do I prefer sleeping in the day and being awake all night long?
>>84430447Is this from GTO?
It limits the amount of irl social interaction and allows us to be avoidment. Also, night time is best time.
>>84430447Other people aren't awake then so you get more time alone. If you do ever have to go out and run errands, hardly any people are around, so you get things all to yourself. It's dark outside, so it's easier on the eyes and you don't have to close your windows. If you follow livestreamers or participate in discord servers (cringe but common NEET activities) then they're usually online late at night as well. Also could just be a habit you've developed from a time when you did live around other people and you never stopped.
>>84430453Yes, yoshikawa episodes are great
>>84430447for me its so I can stay away from my family. and my anxiety is spiked so much now that just hearing people moving and talking in the house makes me uncomfy
I'm not a NEET, but I work midnight shifts and I stay up on my nights off so I can keep my sleep cycle consistent.
bc you can see screens better at nightnothing like laying in bed and the only thing i see is tiktok
>>84430447Sleeping the day away I love being awake at night because it's very quiet and people don't speak and make much noise at this time.
>>84430447everyone is asleep so you dont feel guilty seeing people come and go to work, or having to face your family.also frankly, the day is too long,
might just be your natural circadian rhythm. Im the same way. Even if I do get a good nights sleep im still tired until night comes and then I just ruin my sleep schedule again
>>84430447Since you're a NEET, recommend me good anime. I'm familiar with classics like Baccano, Steins Gate and GTO, but I have inexperience with well known titles such as Death Parade and Psycho Pass, to briefly describe my level of familiarity with the genre.
>>84433610watch mawaru penguindrum if you havent already
>>84430447Your mind is abolishing responsibilities by sabotaging your chances to improve. It's trying to make sure you never try to 'make it' because you fear you'll just fail.
>>84433788>mawaru penguindrumThank you anon.>>84430447It's my natural inclination to do this also. Waking up to a red sunset tends to make me depressed though, particularly in winter, after a few days I become less productive overall, and I sleep too much. Even though you'll prefer not to do it, if you have some sort of goal you became a NEET to accomplish, aside from desire to flee the real world (youtube videos, digital art, game design, etc). I would suggest that you set alarms at 6am and go to bed at sunset. It will have some motivational benefit immediately. You will also accomplish more. If you're at your desk, drinking coffee and working on something at 6:30, instead of just refreshing r9k in bed or something at the start of your day. Falling asleep after 10pm needs to become a negative in your mind, even though time is really no object. Messing this up most days is fine though :P.
>>84433610Tiger and Bunny but as a NEET I don't watch a lot of anime, I'm not a hikikomori.
>>84430447>As a NEET, why do I prefer sleeping in the day and being awake all night long? For me, it's the feeling of night owl comfiness and feeling that I am not 'missing out' as much in the dead of night.Sadly, I feel the need to stay on a day pattern. Though I enjoy waking up at 4-5am and enjoying whatever darkness is there before sunrise. This is another reason why I much prefer winters to the awful hot summers. It's also sad for me to see foids, that I can never have, in summer clothes.
