Next to my house, some guys who are friends with each other have gathered to spend the night together. I estimate there are more than five of them; so far I've only heard male voices. From my room, I can hear them shouting and playing well-known songs, the kind that keep getting played over and over on the radio even after so much time.

This situation, my dear friends, is extremely offensive, and not just because it disturbs my peace (as any street noise does), but because it directly attacks my solitude. Teenagers or young adults having fun, using their voices with that laid-back, cool teenage tone, singing, laughing, hanging out. Everything I've envied since high school is right there in their hands, as if they were showing off their condition while, at the same time, laughing at mine.

What makes me even sadder is imagining that they're not only successful at socializing with other men, but with women as well, which means they date or at least have made out with a girl, like normal people. "Normal person", there's something I will never be. In the same way, the way the world works insists on reminding me of that, showing me normal people being normal, and, by contrast, me being abnormal, a professional spaghetti spiller.

One of them just shouted: "Hey, are you dating someone?" I'm guessing at least two of them are dating. Lucky bastards.

Now they are arguing about Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, the allegory of the cave and the ideal world. I don't know what the fuck they are doing.

Now one said: "All philosophers are ugly as fuck. Nietzsche was ugly as fuck: he approached a woman and said: (???)..."

Should I keep updating this thread telling what they are saying like a good cuck?
