Why do asians mix up L's and R's so often when they speak?
>>84432880i dont know about all asian languages, but this chart will make the problem clear for you in regards to japanese
>>84432880most of east asia uses a combined L/R soundsimilarly there's a R/y sound in mandarin that gives gaijin a hard time
>>84432880Their languages either have a sound that's halfway between r and l, or don't have a sound anywhere near it.The sound you see written as "r" in latinized Chinese for example is not really an r at all, they just slapped "r" on it because it was the closest tongue position and had a vaguely similar sound in some dialects, but it's pronounced more like the s in "measure" in most dialects.
>>84432880Chinese people have Ls and Rs, I think it's just Japanese (honorary) who do this.
>>84432880Sounds that we make with our tounges in our mouths that they dont because their brains weren't trained on them
Asians are ricemicly mixed
