Hello anons. I know many of you will laugh, but I have decided to start transitioning. I'm not going to change my gender or something like that, I'm going to become an android. I know I can't literally become an android(YWNBAA), I just want to identify as one and become as much like one as possible. I also want to live as an android would.

How should I approach it? What's the play here? Also, if you're wondering why I wanted to become an android, it's because I think being a human and humans in general are dumb.

Read meditations by Marcus Aurelius and live by the tenants he describes in chapter 1 for a month, then you will be ready to progress in your journey.
>>
>>84433591
(Make another thread in a month and describe how the transition is going). Being a stoic is the first step.

>Tenants
Tenets.

Thats cool anon. Of the top of my head, my first recommendation would be to get one of the new exoskeleton devices and wear it all the time. Maybe get specific implants like hearing implants and wear the meta glasses or someyhing similar for an augmented reality interface. Obviously cover up all your organic material with clothing and a mask. Cybernetics aeent quite there to replace body parts yet but just hang in there for a few decades and try to get on the waiting lists for experimental procedures as a volunteer.

If he wants to become a mecha, he'll have to get comfortable embracing tenants

>wearing something unnecessary only for appearances sake.
Baka! This doesn't make you a cyborg, this makes you a guy who wants to merely look like a Cyborg!!! It's totally against the Cyborg mindset!!!!
>>
>>84433587
Start doing sprints and lifting. Think of upgrading your muscles like switching them out with better parts.

I'm asuming you're talking about covering up your meat. It's perfectly natural to cover up functional parts of a machine in order to keep them from getting dirty or damaged. Besides the fact that your disgusting human form won't convince anybody that you're an android, it will also protect the meat from sun damage until it can be replaced

>I'm going to become an android
is this what happens when you spend too much time in being a robot on this board

personally i want to become a dragon

Cyborgs don't want to convince anyone they're cyborgs. OP directly said he isn't a tranny. This is about practically becoming transhuman, and not just superficially.

Is it possible to supplement his skeleton with a metal that isn't too heavy, is strong, and won't leak into his body over time, fuse to the bone in an inefficient way, or won't interfere with Xrays/ magnets?

Chop off all your limbs and replace them with bionic upgrades. Sign up for Neuralink.

That's retarded. It's important to be doing both superficial and practical. You're neber going to be a good machone if you don't learn how to clean and maintain your parts.

No. You could replace your skeleton with titanium implants one bone at a time but itd take toling to be meaningful progreee

The weight would be something. He'd need an exoskeleton machine all the time, just to get around. I hope those things don't run on battery. This is a hard path OP has chosen.

Again, this is supposing he's a guy who wants to look like and pretend to be a robot. He just wants to be an android (computer strengthened human, which appears human).
>>

Titanium implanrs arent that heavy
>>
>>84433717
apparently so, they can degrade surrounding bone though
>>
>>84433722
Yeah its obviously not solid metal dude
>>
also is it weird for me to say i am hoping ww3 happens, i lose 1 arm but then the government gives me a cool ass mechanical arm filled with cool bullshit. and i get to keep it ever after my service

seems cool, ngl
>>
>>84433739
hoping I keep not only both arms, but my life and the lives of my loved ones in WW3.
>>
>>84433780
quite true, all ts only looks cool but its gonna be literal hell if it ever happened irl

Trying to wipe with a cyborg hand.... trying to not get water inside it when washing your hands. Eating with your cyborg hand...
>>
>>84433587
Start by lifting weights, cleaning your room, meditating, going outside, and talking to people.
>>
>>84433836
>Trying to wipe with a cyborg hand
thats why i said only 1 hand and use a fucking bidet its way better
>.... trying to not get water inside it when washing your hands.
desu its made for literal bloodshed, i dont think water should be an issue in the first place
Eating with your cyborg hand...
that actually dosent seem that bad, people with prosthetics do eat
>>
>>84433852
>>use a fucking bidet
>anon uses the bidet without wiping
>>
>>84433945
i mean use one of the strong bidets , which just clean the shit in one go not the baby bidets which just pees a bit of water, haven't you seen those?
>>
>>84433962
you mean the ones that spray water up your arsehole? that sounds unhygienic and potentially habit-forming
