it's nice, I can imagine a moody singing/ screaming voice with bass and drums
>>

C -> G -> A -> D?

the second one goes G -> D at the end i think
>>
>>84435656
I'm too busy listening to music to listen to this, maybe in 15 years I will
>>

thanks anon. im not confident in singing at all and im not too good at writing bass or drums, or even melodies / solo stuff on guitar either. so most of the stuff i come up with ends up in the graveyard because i dont end up actually finishing them lol.

for the arpeggiated sections im playing this. not too sure on the chord names, some kind of c chord and a b chord i think.
first chord - xx320x
second chord - xx220x
and for the last bar on the first chord im just playing open a, hammer on to two, hammer again to 3 (or slide), 2 on d string, 2 on a string and then just going into the arpeggiated bit again for the second chord

for the strumming sections im doing this
same first chord as first section but open bottom strings (xx3200)
g chord but again open bottom strings (320000)
normal e minor chord
b chord (x20200)

and then for the second strumming section im adding another note on the bottom strings
xx3220
320002
022020
x20202
hope this makes sense desu

i'll be looking forward to what you have to say about it anon
>>
>>84435742
wait no i got that wrong sorry. its this
arpeggiated section
x320xx
x220xx

strumming section 1
x320xx
320000
022000
x20200

strumming section 2
x32020
320002
022020
x20202
>>
>>84435757

>>
>>84435742
>xx3220
>320002
>022020
>x20202
am i reading these the wrong way?
>>
>>84435757
>x20200
did you mean an open D instead?
>>
>>84435742

Your easy going response made me want to listen to it, so maybe not 15 years. I listened up to 1:30 but turned it off because it sounded too depressing. Like shit you listen to while you cry about a break up or some shit. But it sounded good, the vibe just wasn't for me. Keep going man

i thought i fucked it up again but i just picked up my guitar to check and thats definitely what im playing. also i realised in my second reply i put x320xx for the strumming section, but its the open one like i said originally x32000. sorry anon, i made it sound way more confusing than it actually is.
>>84435791
thanks anon
>>84435807
haha thanks anon, no ones ever sang over anything i've posted here before. sounded good
>>
>>84435829
No problem. Very good strums. I couldn't hear the music due to screen recording issues so I winged it with breakup waawaas and sung out of tune.
>>
>>84435829
are you playing with normal tuning? it sounds off when I play it
>>
>>84435906
yeah, normal tuning. maybe just very slightly out of tune. i dont know what it could be, anon. i do have slight buzzing on my high e so maybe thats the issue? in any case, i just tried playing with an open d chord instead and it still sounds right to me. you could do try doing this as an alternative
first strumming section - x00230
second strumming section - normal d xx0232
