Are there any home treatments for blackheads that actually work or do I have to go have a doctor stab me with a holepunch for an hour?
why not just remove them yourself
1. use those cleansers2. pore strips you stick on your face
>>84438597a lot of what people think are blackheads are actually just sebacious buildup. use a face cleanser with salicylic acid and it'll clear up in ~2 weeks
use a charcoal face mask that dries and you peel it offgreat for cleansing deep skin
>>84438645>>84438655>>84438656Are there any in particular I should try? I have a cleanser now which doesn't do anything and I've tried the strips before and they didn't help. For what it's worth they've been there for literal years so I don't know if they're fused to my skin now or something.
>>84438710does it go away when a derma does the hole punch thing?
>>84438597exacto knifeheat it with a lighter first though. don't want no infection
>>84438710wet a towel with hot water, let it cover your face for 5 minutes (opens your pores) and use anything labeled "cleanser" (not facewash/exfoliant) that has "salicylic acid" advertised on it. use nightly for 2 weeks and you'll notice it's clear. also change/clean your pillowcase once a week at least. ideally don't touch your face much either. this is all you need to know
>>84438721It did when I used to go but that was like 10 years ago when I still had active cystic acne I was getting removed at the same time. It also hurt like shit by the end.
>>84438597I ordered a blackhead scraper kit off Amazon years ago and I use it all the time. It's very satisfying to watch the buildup spiral out of your face. If you've got a lot of blackheads, I highly recommend it. They only cost a few bucks.
