when i was in 6th grade one of my teachers had the best students in the class take an IQ test, this one asian guy i would compete with in class got an IQ of like 114 if i'm remembering correctly, but then she refused to tell me what my IQ was because she said she was worried about how it would effect me.I just assumed back then that maybe i had a really low IQ and she didn't want to hurt my feelings or for me to made fun of by the asian kid since he liked to taunt whenever he was better at something than you and since we would compete all the time, maybe that's why she never told me.but i think if my IQ was actually really high and she was afraid i'd become arrogant about it, she should have told me anyways because if i knew i had a high IQ i would have tried to nurture it and actually take school seriously.her not telling me and having me assume i was retarded led me to not take school seriously and i eventually dropped out of high school.i wish i would have known..what do you anons think, did she not tell me because i'm retarded or maybe i'm a super genius with untapped potential?what do you think guys?

my situation was the opposite, i specifically told my therapist to NOT tell me the results of my test and he did anyway and since then i cannot shake the feelings of midwittery

iq correlates with intelligence but there are intelligent/successful people with a mid iq so whatever. i got a 100 iq online and it raised my confidence
