Apparently, drinking alcohol is suppose to spike your appetite and make your cravings for food go through the roof. But in my experiences, it had the exact opposite effect. Whether it be a banquet of food that was made during the holidays, or some takeout I got, once I was drunk enough none of it seemed appealing to me in that moment. Can anyone else relate?
did you drink beer or liquor when i drink beer usually the beer makes me full enough that i dont feel like eating for the rest of the night, but with liquor it's a comparatively small amount so i can eat lots
i've never heard of such a correlation.about the only thing i can think of is perhaps the desire to eat something if you feel like you've had too much to drink, since eating something can help slow down alcohol absorption. but for actually making you want to eat in general i can't say i've felt that
>>84440460Last couple of times it was mainly beer. So there might be something to what you're saying since I would be drinking a bigger volume to get drunk.
Alcohol seems pretty versatile. After work I don't feel like cooking so I'll think wine for supper and not get hungry. Or I'll think oh yeah grilling is going to be so good, gonna get so hungry and eat seconds and thirds. Really get excited thinking about how good it will be. But stomach stays same size so I just eat the usual half a plate and then return to finish it a few hours later. It's all mental and doesn't actually affect appetite.
