My Nintendo DS was sitting in a store box for 12+ years, today i booted it up and it works.

In my box, i had a bunch of old MP4 players and sell phones from that era, none of them worked due to battery not charging.

How come nintendo batteries are still working for this long?

Because Nintendo knows faggots like you will always keep crawling back to their old consoles

They use older more refined tech in their products, so they last really long. Mine still works too. I'd grab a cart for it if you don't have one. I mean a cart that boots it up and let's you play roms. I forget what you call those things but it made it way more fun for me.
