Got humiliated at a house party. Never going to one againSo I just graduated university and a friend of mine told me about a house party being thrown by this guy we both know. I'd hung out with him a few times through my friend, he seemed chill, so I figured why not. We ubered there with two other guys my friend knew. I didn't really know them, we just had mutual friends.We get to the party and most of the people there I had never met. They were all friends with each other and I was just kind of there. First thing they do is beer pong. Nobody picked me for a team. I asked if I could at least take a shot and everyone was telling me "later" like bro what??? Whatever I brushed it off.Then everyone goes outside to smoke. Nobody talked to me. They're all in their own conversations and I'm just standing there. I stuck close to my friend so I wouldn't look completely alone but it was already painful. Then the worst possible thing happened. My friend started talking to a girl and by the end of the night they were making out and eventually disappeared into a room together. Just like that I was completely on my own.I sat on the sofa with the group trying to join the conversation. Nobody was having it. Every time I said something it just got ignored or brushed off. Then one of the guys looks at a girl and goes "how much would I pay you to kiss this guy." She looked at me and said "never, he's like 4'2." I'm 5'5. I laughed it off in the moment but I genuinely wanted to disappear.After this I just understood this shit is a humiliation ritual so I left, alone. The next morning this friend who invited me went off in my messages talking about how I embarrassed him
