Has a boomer ever given you good advice? What was it?
Never. Even when I applied it, it failed. They don't realize their shitty generation got everything handed to them on a silver platter. They could do what they advise. It doesn't work now. We cannot just go into a store, give them a handshake, and have a job that can buy a house and have it paid off in 10 years.
>>84442324Fuck no. Boomers are all dipshits. Every last one of them deserves to get dumped in the cheapest assisted living facility in the ghetto to be abused daily by shitskin nurses. I spit on their graves.
>>84442324the only truly useful advice they told me was to not tolerate other's bullshit, and even then I had to dial it back from their definition some because it's straight up antisocial and dickish how far they want you to go with it. that and you never act rich if you are, but that's something I actually see more from gen X'ers. boomers love flaunting wealth too much to not go back on that word of advice
When I was 16 I met this incredibly racist boomer who was at the bus stop every day and we had a great time, me being an immature teenager and him with his racism in his southern drole, he talked about niggers and jews and hispanics and why he hated them and muslims too and as I got older I realize what he said was basically true.It was wholesome, everything society told me about how people like this are evil mean and le bad was false. Through my life I have saved myself a lot of trouble distancing myself from minorities except east asians. Not going to clubs and parties full of niggers. Not bothering with a hispanic gf who turned out to be a total slut with herpes. The one time I ignored his advice and let my guard down this 'jeet at work plagiarized my work.Normies are shit and awful people in general of course, not just minorities, but you have to interact with them just to survive and it helps to lowkey interact with those less likely to be incompetent or malicious.
>>84442324the generation before them had useful advice, boomer retards rebelled against them fucking us all
>>84442379Because their parents and grandparents had to go through some actual rough shit. That's unlike boomers who didn't have to endure anything. Yet they like to claim they had harder times than what we do today. Yeah, try having to work 60+ hours a week to barely make ends meet compared to their being able to work 40 hours at minimum wage and have so much money left to spurge on. Boomers are delusional.
>>84442361>hispanic gf who turned out to be a total slut with herpes.desu this can still happen of they're white, just don't fuck any woman within 150mi of coachella, rolling loud, or EDC, ever.
>>84442324My grandpa always said my generation was full of gay whiny pussies and its never that deep. He was lowkey right.
>>84442430Here's your (you), hope you're happy.
>>84442447I apppreciate that, thank you
>>84442324>steel wool to help clean up your chrome>carburettor voodoo and fuel line diameter min-maxing>recalls OEM number codes and names from 1982Boomer advice in extreme niche autism hobbies is actually very good. Some boomer advice is hearsay that were memes back in their day which is where most of their absurd lies come from. Take what they say with some salt and there's truth in some of it.
>>84442324Boomer advice is the funniest shit ever. They also get mad as hell when you laugh or tell them shit doesn't work that way anymore.
>>84442324my father is the only truly good person I know, better than millennials, all his advice are gold
>>84442324>Has a boomer ever given you good adviceYes. The greatest advice but he was rare. >What was it?Lmao, it's too good to share with random strangers. I've shared it once before here. That person I shared it with later made a post about how helpful the advice was months later. I then shared it with the boomer and he was like lol ok glad to help your friend. But they weren't really my friend and neither are you that's why I'm only share such gems with my friends.
Yes, told me to avoid niggers, so far I haven't been shot, so I guess it was a good advice
Yeah, forget women and focus on making money. I didn't listen and now I'm broke and alone in my 30s
>>84442324no every time i have ever listened to them it has been a huge mistake lmao
>>84442485>Boomer advice in extreme niche autism hobbies is actually very goodNo it isn't. In those hobbies, those boomerisms are well-known to be utter trash or only applicable to outdated tech. If a boomer was ever right about anything, it was by complete accident. You'd have better results making decisions based on a coin flip than you would listening to a boomer
>>84442574Was it those odd pickup lines?
>>84442860>only applicable to outdated techThat was the type of hobby I had in mind and it was very applicable. Applying it to modern shit obviously doesn't work and that's where you get the Facebook-Facebook-tier memes with boomers being out of touch. In hobbies where things are actually objective and can't/don't change and only apply to that specifically. Things like amateur radio, electronics and mechanics; boomer lore is good. I wouldn't listen to a boomer telling me to just short a faulty modern diesel generator like he did to the ones in the army back in 1981, but I'll consider it for those because it's how it was meant to be done. Grain of salt
to live life and enjoy it while im still young... i didnt get much advice from boomers but mostly like mili and others
>>84442910>pickup linesWhat pick up lines are you talking about? No it had nothing really to do with picking people up but it could be applied in that area probably.
irl? noonly if i read up from a book or youtube there are some that give solid advicetwo that stands out the most - never chase pussy if you want to be richand the best thing old people can do for young is to die

>>84442324"If it flies, swims or fucks it's cheaper to rent" words of a boomer flight instructor. So far i can only confirm the first one.
>>84444087Rent a fish..?
>>84444097He ment boats but hey keeping large fish in your bathtub and renting them out to insecure boomers for photoshoots so that they can brag to their friends about their "catch" does sound like a good business idea.
