Is anyone on here from Japan and can tell me if its a good place to study for a semester ?I know they dont like foreigners or whatever, but its not like I would stay there. Just trynna cash in Uni credits some place that isnt my own shithole country

I was thinking about enrolling in Japanese Studies after finishing my current degree and we have good opportunities of studying in Japan via scholarships and partnerships between local x japanese universities. Still, I'm insecure because they don't like foreigners and I'm too socially awkward for a society who demands extremely high social function (to begin with tatemae and honne, that's important because I can just do honne, tatemae is kind of alien to me).What do you plan studying? I have heard there are some colleges with strong reputations and maybe that makes some difference, but for 99% of Japanese students college is just total bullshit until the third year when they have to grind their ass off doing internships and interviews to land a job offer.
