Anyone here on ADD/ADHD medication?I'm going to be prescribed Vyvanse for the first time, but was wondering if anyone has had something like that here. What are your experiences like?
yeah im on adderall right now(i dont have adhd)
ive taken it but i dont have adhd i just wanted to try it. i was completely wired for hours and didnt enjoy it at all
Took strattera as a kid from 3 to 12 and it made me into a bloated retarded zombie. I'm still retarded at 18 but at least I am not bloated and not half-conscious 24/7.
>>84443226ADHD meds work best if you add all those hippie Dippie naturalist techniques for ADHD ontop. On their own they only work with really week symptoms but with meds they're absolutely amazing.I think the primary effect I love is that you can feel contentment again.
Mindblowimg. I'm here taking a break from what I was doing. Before I had that analysis paralysis bullshit going on with 50 things going on in my head trying to do 10 tasks which had nothing to do with what I was supposed to be doing. Now, my mind is calm as fuck and it helps me laser focus. I get shit done. Also, Adderall IR, 15mg. Been on this dose for a year now. I only take it when I need to.
>>84443226I'm a NEET in his 30s with nothing accomplished in his life and nothing to show for despite my potential. I have chronically low energy and low motivation. Can anyone else relate and if so what helped you?
>>84443226vyvanse is amazing, i take 50mg
Currently taking a blend of aripiprazole (5mg) with (54mg) of concerta - I either feel manic or worn out, no in between, wished I asked for meth.
>>84443417>have a mood disorder>get placed on something that triggers manic episodes in people with bipolar disordersDoctors are idiots now-a-days.
>>84443452i probably very a mood disorder since my dad is type 1 bipolar who gets literal psychotic episodes every now and then and i think vyvanse helps me with my mood regulation
>>84443462>i probably veryi probably have* you can tell im ADHD lol
>>84443465no you're just a retarded phoneposter
>>84443237>>84443226what's the pro vs con of vyanse vs addy?also being on it while not having adhd is based, nice anon
>>84443243That was more or less my experience on Adderall XR, no fun just anxiety.Ritalin, however, has been preddy fucking sweet.
>>84443588no i dont post on my phone
>>84443781there are no pros for lisdexamphetamine
>>84443781>pic relatedthey're both effectively the same drug but vyvanse has a different activation mechanism. The tl;dr is that with vyvanse you'll feel pretty much the same effect for the entire day once it hits and adderall you'll feel big highs and big lows of the medicine throughout the day
>>84443902the pros of adderall is that the effect is much stronger while vyvanse has an effectiveness cap
>>84443243i heard the experience is very different for people who actually have adhd, they end up feeling normal, while normal people get 8 hour goon session
How much does vyvance affect your libido?
I take Vyvanse 2x a day, 30mg each pill.I am on a much higher dose because my ADHD and Autism are cracked. I've tried almost every prescribed stimulant outside of Desoxyn, and I have no desire to be on that.Vyvanse is a god-send for people like me. I have calm and quiet in my mind; I have a filter to filter out stimuli that drains and upset me; I am accomplishing my life goals. Thank you, Vyvanse>>84444240Stimulants in general can have this effect desu. I do notice my drive skyrockets when dosed, but funny enough it solves my two-pump-chump issue. Still, it's way too easy to take your meds and just goon. Stimulants put gas in the tank; they don't drive the car. You still need to put your meds to work on important things, not boobers.
>>84444240Not on vyvance, but Adderall makes mine plummet.
