24 Hours ago I've decided to simply give up on porn, and masturbation. I just got bored. Whenever I see people talk about giving up porn they always tend to talk about how much they hated it. Porn, as a form of entertainment media, is what you make of it at the end of the day. It all depends on how you engage with it. Personally, though mostly due to autism, through watching porn I have learned English, Spanish, Russian, and Japanese. Learned about various religions, and their teachings, due to having a blasphemy fetish. Learned a lot of medical shit due to extreme fetishes. And just got into learning anatomy and histology because of getting into guro recently. So in a sense, I gained knowledge and wisdom through masturbation. And now that I got old...I just don't have the time to waste anymore. The act of looking for stuff, watching it, and rewatching it is insanely time consuming. And All of my beloved whores have already retired years ago. So it might be time that I retire too. Now that most of my collection could be considered lost media, I don't thing that I'll ever engage with the industry ever again. Nothing of what they produce is interesting. It's always the safe, sterile stuff that gets traction nowadays. And there's no fixing it. Engaging with it is a waste of time. There's, as the japanese would say, no climax, nor point, nor meaning. I would rather direct my learning autism directly into great books instead of trying to dissect porn to the audience of no one. Hope The rest of you get over it too. No one should be waste their precious time on porn, especially modern porn.

But I think most writers don't know how the incorporate the erotic aspect into the story. There are amazing exceptions like "The God of Death" so it depends on the scenario writer. And If you wanted my opinion on Saya no Uta, Urobuchi's prose is fantastic. But sadly it's just too short...I would've loved it if it were longer. It's just good for me.
