Why everyone* with a star (asterisk) you ask? Because not all the people in the world will come into contact with me, but they could if they so chose. And why is that a problem you may ask? Because there are a lot of bad people in this world and many unsuccessful groups around the world that want to be in successful countries (in which i live in one). Why must we interact with the dregs of humanity on a daily basis? They have their own countries in which to rob, steal and kill each other in so why us and why now? I long for days anons, i long for days where you could interact with the world and its cultures only through a book and keep some distance. To live in your little village with the people you have known all your life and maybe visit the capital once and back again and that was your world. Now everyone* can travel anywhere, anytime and that unsettles me, for i long to live in a small world without having to interact with the worst of us (Middle-East and African populations). Having the rest of the world know of our standards of living (high compared to theirs) and our high trust society (not anymore) have been one of the worst mistakes we have made.
