What are you genuinely supposed to do as a sub5? Rotting in my room is making me go insane. Has anyone here found some solution?
>>84452293validate yourself has some how always been my answer when the world around me cannot supply with validation
>>84452293That's why they usually chase money, power and vanity projects. Have you taken a hard look at most rich guys? Every notice how short and ugly most guys that own even a simple construction company are? Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk arn't exactly winning any beauty contests. Musk would look well below a 5 if he wasn't tall and didn't get hair plugs and he'd be far fatter because tall people carry weight better. You keep busy and give yourself obtainable goals.
>>84452337I have zero interest in material things, money, romance, or sex anymore. All U care about now is finding a friend.
>>84452293i just jerk off and think about killing myself
>>84452424>zero interest in material thingsI hate to break it to ya man but there isn't much else to do in the human tribe. All those feel good stories about community and friendship are pretty much bullshit. There's a reason business and commerce prevails so much in the world while every other ideology is mostly lip service and dead on arrival. In the end we're just monkeys that were smart enough to invent a bunch of tools and toys. If you don't like the toys then you're just left with shit slinging monkeys to try to get along with. Good luck.
I don't like other people and prefer to be alone all the time so I can't relate bro. Your nightmare is me living the dream.
>>84452463All else I could suggest is take up a hobby that occupies you like skateboarding or drawing or something you don't need other people for and isn't super expensive.
>>84452468Humans biologically need companionship. Isolation is worse for a person's health than smoking, drinking, or being obese. You'll end up dead before you can retire, wasting your entire life working for nothing.
>>84452293video games are having a decent year so i've found it easy going back to escapismmaxing, i'm honestly kinda glad to finally be getting back to it after spending the latter half of my twenties distracted by the process of hopelessly pining for love i will never have, it's over and that's okay because it never even began
>>84452482I'm built different. Other people make me anxious and exhausted. All my friends are online friends, I still only hang out with them once a week, and only for a couple hours. This is enough social activity to make me feel "loved". My preferred method of interacting with other people is posting on 4chan and other image boards where I can interact with others without being burdened by social obligations. There's no continuity or reputation or relationship aspect. If I don't like how the interaction is going I can just leave, close the tab, and find somewhere else to post, and none of it follows me into the next thread. It's great. If real life worked this way I probably wouldn't hate talking to people or being around them.
>>84452482How is isolation bad for your health?
>>84452541It isn't, not directly. Isolation can be bad for mental health if you are a person like OP who is dependent on others for his self-esteem. Chronic depression caused by isolation can cause physical ailments. It's pscyho-somatic, though, in other words, a downstream effect of his mental state. If you don't have the same dependency on others, then isolation at worst causes you to develop odd habits and bad hygiene, which can inhibit your social interactions.
>>84452293the solution is to rope. i'm working myself up to it.
>>84452541Probably because historically, it was dangerous. So it triggers the fight or flight response.
>>84452482this only applies to normie cattle
