>Be me
>30 year old wizard
>Currently in uni, major hopping, fucking hate it there
>Will probably be homeless within a few years
>Too stupid to get a stem degree and too socially retarded for much else
>Dad wanted me to go on neetbux but I refused because I wanted to prove that I am useful
I should have listened to him, I genuinely have no future and belong in a retard home. Only thing I have that keeps me sane is drawing dumbass cartoons
How are you guys doing?

Just go on welfare OP.
Speaking as someone who had a similar mentality about "proving yourself" and had just accepted that there's really no point in any of it.

Im an autistic 30 yr old, who is slightly functional adult.

I've struggled and HATED every job ive ever had. I'm also not the kind of autist who is good at math or science or anything so I can't get a high paying STEM job and stuck doing manual labor stuff the rest of my life.

Fuck that shit. I recently got on welfare and have never been happier.

Leave all that motivational productivity bull shit for the normies- the people who are born capable of coasting through life on easy mode. That way, people like me won't have to inconvenience them trying to fit in. Just keep paying your taxes, wage cucks and everything will go swimmingly, kek.
>>
>>84467688
You got this man, don't listen to that subversive pig, it takes all of us to keep society going, the more of us there are on welfare the harder things get for everyone and the more enslaved we become.

what are you studying? study something that pays, which businesses are always complaining they can't find the skills for then move to alaska where it pays 6 figs or something, if you absolutely steamroll it and hustle and fake it till you make it and also take good care of your health and eat a lot of garlic to suppress dihydrotestosterone you can still make it

if you're studying philosophy or media studies you might actually want to just drop out and do something else
>>
>>84467688
Do you take requests OP? What other cartoons do you draw?

Really simple stuff desu. I also animate and am working on a personal project. Making animations is the only thing I really care about.
I'm not near my tablet right now, sadly so I can't take requests unless this thread is still up by the time I get back
>>
>>84467788
in what country can you just go on welfare for being socially retarded like this? how's it work anyway?
>>
>>84467971
Based. Thanks, anon.
I will say that I have been getting slightly better. I'm hoping that the internship I had this year will help me find actual, steady employment soon
>>
>>84468048
Oh no way...
I saw this image and was like "this girl, I've seen them somewhere before..."
You actually did draw something for me a while back. A cat that was like, 3 different characters mashed together, swimming. I don't know how you'd feel about another suggestion along those lines, its usually my main thing.
All things considered, I think you're being a bit too hard on yourself. It takes years of effort to be a decent artist, moreso a decent animator, and the fact you can do both means it can open up doors for you. In this modern age you don't even need to move for it you can just do storytime animator stuff (as an example) and network through the internet and possibly rake in money that way. The indie scene is huge. Like I think I would love to stay at home and draw and get paid for it. Only drawbacks is I would need to remember to exercise and do proper wrist warms or you risk fucking your income earner over with tendinitis. And man, if you break or strain your drawing hand like moving furniture or something.(be careful). If you're passionate about it, it won't even feel like work. If you have OC's and a story to tell, people out there will latch on if the premise is engaging enough.
Going on the welfare seems like a good plan but it can be very limiting in terms of certain things, like where you live (forced to use gov housing, might be housed with people you dislike), or if you want to take a vacation that's not even that far away but you simply can't afford it. It limits your reach to being local in just about every way. And once you are there, it may be hard to force yourself out of the welfare hole. I also don't think being on welfare as you get older is appealing either. I would think you'd want stability, as welfare parameters can change at any time. You don't want to be 40 or 50 and suddenly possibly homeless.

much the same, started a stem degree, so far its too easy, but eventually its going to get too hard i think. and either way im not that interested. then i will graduate and not be able to get a job because its the most competitive market in decades and if you dont have much interest or drive i think you're fucked. i dont know what else to do because everything else sounds like you cant reallly do it easily or would kill me
>>
>>84468133
Oh shit, nice.
Yea I had fun drawing that for you.
I'm still not home yet but if this thread is still up within 2 hours, I think I can draw something again for you.
Or you can find me on my twitter and dm your request (maze animations)
I'm still going to continue looking for employment. I'd honestly feel guilty being on welfare but I just never saw much of a future for myself
>>
>>84467688
>>Dad wanted me to go on neetbux but I refused because I wanted to prove that I am useful

i'm kinda waiting on neetbux right now but i also feel this too. I'd hate to just be like how I am forever
>>
>>84468154
>and if you dont know the right people who can get you in, you're fucked

Very nice of you. Should I post a reference and you just pull whatever you want from it? Thread will likely be here in two hours, though I don't know how fast r9 can be at times.
>and dm your request
I dislike Twitter muchly and I don't actively use it, sorry.

It is, he's pushing the requirement. Unless its adjustijg for male virgins being twice as common now.

United States or literally any first world western country with a generous welfare system(most of the EU).

Granted, while you CAN try to scam the system and pretend to be retarded its gotten much harder over these last few years and its not as easy as it sounds.

I qualified because I have a legit learning disability, and a history of depression and have been fired from a ton of jobs for simply being too incompetent or socially retarded to the point of scaring my coworkers into thinking im going to hurt them kek.

I used to care about all that shit about being a normie, until I realized that my life would be a whole lot easier if I just stopped trying to be something Im not and just embrace the fact that im simply just not cut out for the modern world. Now, I never asked to brought here, and ive rawdogged this shit world for 32 yrs and im not just going to let you kill me. I feel like giving me welfare is just a fair compromise.

I don't have to upset the normies and piss them off trying to fit in with them, and I get to continue to simply exist. Its a win win.

>>84468330
how many jobs? i'm curious. any funny stories of how you got fired?
>>
>>84468481
been working ever since i was 16 yrs old and had all kinds of odd jobs.

Probably one of the few robots on this board with a work history of job hopping thats longer than most.
>any funny stories of how you got fired
Not really. They may be funny to you though but i dont feel like telling any.
>>
>>84468557
OP here, can kinda relate. Have worked various retail jobs since I was 17 and could never hold one for very long.
Shortest stint was two weeks at a McDonald's. It was so bad they had me sent to a mental place for a few days
>>
>>84468581
That's what im trying to tell you, OP. If you have a chance to collect NEETbucks, then just do it. Things are not going to get any better for people like us so you might as well just embrace it.

Ive tried so hard to self improve, gym etc but no matter what I always come up short.

Get outperformed literal teenagers and 20 somethings who just had the fortune of not being born partially braindamaged from autism. Only winning move is simply not play.

Alright. Tried to keep the designs simple: https://litter.catbox.moe/d14ad8d7j2rt1lrh.png
Also, the fastest (nearly an hour) thing I could scribble out for you in return (ah yes, simple cartoon designs, wherein if one line is off it looks off model to the power of a billion [that's a knock against my unskillful ability]): https://litter.catbox.moe/zvy84s.png
Me trying to draw hands? lol. Me trying to draw hands holding something? rofl.

I get a kick out of how you create characters taking elements from here and there.
Thank you anon, toon styles like this I really like. I appreciate you drawing animals since most of what you draw are humans, I hope you don't mind it. She even has that trigger discipline, heh.
Would it be possible to send it as a png? It's got significant jpeg compression, which is very noticeable for something simple with flat colors. You should be well under the file size limit

Much better, thanks.
Best of luck to you on your job prospects. I know life can suck. Just take it one day at a time. Find comfort in your animations/characters, when the world stresses you out.

Will do, anon.
Animating makes me happy
