Games Done Quick isn't a random sample of speedrunners. Its culture was manufactured and has changed drastically over the years by a handful of people who have turned it into what it is now, but even then, maybe 20% of players are trans. An actual random sample of speedrunners would be almost all incel type men who locally record runs, don't record at all, or stream to <100 viewers. Same as any competitive gaming format. Games Done Quick isn't like the CS2/LoL majors where they select for the best of the best or anything like that.
