I was surrounded by beautiful, outgoing people, old boomers, and packs of browns who would all occasionally look at me weird for setting up a towel by myself. The water was nice. I swam really far out, farther than any one else I could see. With my goggles, I looked under water in the direction of the open ocean. It faded off into ominous blackness. At that point all I could think about was sharks.It used to be really fun going as a kid, though. Sandcastles, burying your friends in the sand, skimboarding, wakeboarding, dodging huge waves on a windy day. I remember one day I brought a net and caught a baby lion fish.The beach is both awkward and mortally terrifying if you think about what could be in the water. I wish I never lived here so I'd have an idealized version of it in my mind. Now, the beach just reminds me of what I lost.

The nature is nice but it's niche and nature is better in other states.The people here are NOT REAL. You only understand this if you have lived in florida for a considerable amount of time.
