You're not missing out on much, no.The Halo series was legitimately pretty good, but beyond that nah.Only other western AAA game that comes to mind is Fable the Lost chapters.
I haven't played a new release game since Dark souls 3 or Blazblue Chronophantasma, forget which. I only play WoW these days anymore. Every other game just sucks or is too cinematic based. Games were truly toast when the last of us became popular. I remember watching my brother play that game, I told it it looked like a faggot game made by autogynophile niggers and he returned it.

Sometimes its fun like Arc Raiders, Slay the Spire, Balatro, Stardew Valley. All pretty fun games and easy concepts to talk about if I ever have to discuss video games IRL
