He embraced us, knowing we didn't deserve to embrace Him on our terms
>>84510738i disagree with that. the logos of the new testament is burrowed from platonic philosophy which used the *logos* as the creative principle *behind* the order of the material world. logos was thought of as generation in an non-material sense. also heaven is at the top of the celestial hierarchy and jesus in this context would occupy the apex of this hierarchy as the *logos* generating it. i think sin in the new testament is precisely the material world essence that is fundamentally ad odds with anything permanent and absolute. the world is the opposite, i.e., entropy and decay. honestly the prison planet schizos are closer to the truth of the new testament than the church ever was imo

They are inseperable, as we are from our bodies, souls and minds.You have a good concept of sin, it is entropy, death and decay. But it too is metaphysical, you can't grasp sin in your hand. But you do feel its presence everyday, as it weighs on your soul which in turn, clouds your mind and ails your body.This shows a new meaning when in John, our Lord says "In the beginning the Word (logos) was with God, and the Word was God"Jesus is the Word (logos) made flesh.
