>Tried dating
>Felt nothing
Am I doing something wrong or is there genuinely something wrong with me?

I don't know if I like her but I know she likes me
but I still feel empty inside
We held hands, we kissed, and we're gonna do *it* tomorrow but idk man, I don't feel anything
>>
>>84514145
i've had that feeling too desu. you probably just don't like her, for me it was about finding the right one and i became obsessed as soon as i actually felt something for her
>>
>>84514145
Sounds like you just want to have sex. You have no bond with that woman at all.
>>
This happened to me too and we ended up ghosting each other.
She posted some shit on her social media "im not chasing no man" as if I was expecting anything. I was right to move on though based on her corny social media shit.
>>
>>84514252
I made the first move because I liked her
She's unironically a Stacy/-lite; hot, tons of friends, genuinely everyone she knows wants to fuck her but she chose me out of all of them

Still, I feel nothing

>>84514255
We've been on multiple dates and we've shared stories so intimate that some of it would probably ruin our lives if word got out
we vibe hard, dude

>>84514272
I feel like shit if I ghost her
hell, she's coming over tomorrow night
>>
>>84514318
i use the word ghost, but it was more like a mutual drifting apart. I didn't have a cell phone at the time, so she just was like welp, guess we're not communicating then, so we would never talk, only in person at work.
I dunno, it was quarantine, it was different. I haven't even tried to date since then, things have been too shitty.
>>
>>84514145
Well, what do you look for in a partner? How did she not meet those criteria? Obviously you didn't like her romantically if you felt nothing.

Also, please don't be a retard coward and be honest to her about your feelings. Unless you don't respect her anyway, then fuck away, I guess.
>>
>>84514318
>we vibe hard, dude
That sounds incredibly empty

Didn't mean to post that early. But having a relationship is a very high bar if you want a proper connection. You can likely have vibes with quite a few people in this world, but being in a relationship is on a whole different level. You just don't have much in common with her and you're just horny, so you're coming up with this "we vibe hard" excuse when you don't.
>>
>>84514487
I don't know how to answer that because I've never asked for much anyways
>please don't be a retard coward and be honest to her about your feelings.
yeah, thinking of breaking it off tomorrow
she's gonna hate my guts but that's well within her rights

>>84514590
>>84514611
I guess it's because we bonded over the "wrong" thing?
We bonded through trauma
I was beat up and neglected as a kid, she was molested and sexually abused
>inb4 where's the connection?
we're both hot and hurt, we *click* but it seems like that's about it, like it's up to that point
>>
>>84514700
>but it seems like that's about it
Yeah, that's really it. I'm sorry that didn't work, but I'm glad you are trying to go for something more than that.
>>
>>84514700
>I don't know how to answer that because I've never asked for much anyways
I recommend reflecting on that, knowing what you want and need will come in handy. I'd start with thinking about people in your life or even dynamics in media that you find attractive.

>We bonded through trauma
Interesting, usually I'd expect people who bond through trauma to catch feelings faster.
How do you want to receive love? For me it is to be truly understood. Someone finding my quirks and flaws endearing would be one of the truest forms of love to me.
I think knowing what you want out of love will be an important step to figuring out your (lack of) feelings.
>>
>>84514743
Mb I meant traits in people you know *
There will probably be a pattern of what kind of person you like and admire.
>>
>>84514716
Damn
guess I have to be the asshole

>>84514743
>>84514750
I thought back on it and yeah, I noticed there's a pattern on the kinda person I like
cute, friendly, fit/takes care of herself

I have this weird irrational jealousy thing too, I talked to her about it beforehand
I like people who are friendly, right? But when I'm with them, I hate when they're friendly
I don't wanna be the kinda guy who's possesive/controlling so I try to distance myself from her when she's out there living her own life
>>
>>84514743
Oh yeah, the trauma thing
yeah we bond fast, but the faster we go, the harder it is when we crash
>How do you want to receive love?
idk anon
I grew up in a military family, our acts of "love" weren't saying "i love you" or "i care about you" or even spending time with each other
less being with each other, more doing stuff for each other
