the creature wonders where the internet it grew up in went
shut up oldy kys
>>84557109the other creature will miss what it has now one day too
you mean the forums?the normie masses all chose to be herded into corporate pens like the cattle they are so the corporates can harvest them for dataIf that sounds harsh, i understand, it's harsh because it is true. i even said to some of the normies that we should stay on the forums but they did not listen to me
>>84557151the creature is referring to forums, yes. but also other things. the creature finds tiktok and shorts strange and alienating, and that seems to be the majority of the internet now
>>84557151forums were shit anyway. shoulda never moved away from usenet
>>84557167lol finding tiktokt and shorts 'strange and alienating' is like being raised in a civilization that prioritizes sanitation and hygiene and then being airdropped into a civilization that digs holes in trash dumps filled with sewerage and chooses to live in those holes. There is something wrong with them and nothing wrong with you. I saw too many gen z men choose the brainrot and choose tiktok and choose reels and choose shorts. They chose it. I argued against it, I WARNED them, I told them not to do it. They still did it. They laughed at me, mocked me. It's a shit situation they are in but so many chose it. They want to live in the trashpile. Yes, this means what we knew is coming to an end. It's sad. There is a genuine palpable grief about that. Alas, it truly is basically out of our hands now. There's nought we can do to rectify what has been done and what has been lost. >>84557179I was too young for usenet. But I imagine for you it was superior to forums because of some rational reasons which I am sure are fair enough. I don't think forums were perfect but I do think they had some great qualities. And I still remember the times clear enough to be able to compare and contrast the internet from those days of forums to the internet of dogshit brainrot now.
>>84557189the creature is sad and wants to live in the past where its home was. the creature doesnt know how to cope with its loss sometimes. how does the other creature cope with it
>>84557213desu i tried the 'living in the past' thing and it was unhealthy for me physically and mentally. So eventually I just grieved deeply and then set my sights on personal goals. I'm a total neet for various reasons but I am working on getting strong again according to my capabilities which requires a routine, healthy eating, a good sleep routine. And I'm trying to grow a business to see if I can make some money. If it fails, I'll try something else. But I basically had to leave the internet behind mostly, I'm here now, but at some point I'll leave for a while again. I just don't spend much time on the internet anymore - and I did try to find quality places, but the sad fact is that they are kinda all gone. So then I had to go through the real grief. And yeah that was tough, a lot of emotion. but such is life. so basically I'm coping by trying to get physically strong according to my capabilities, trying to keep a good sleep habit, and trying to eat healthy. And trying to grow a business.
the creature is shitting his pants rn
>>84557238the creature envies the other creatures motivation and wishes it the best with its endevours>>84557250the creature thinks that the other creature should eat more fiber.
>>84557262thanks and I wish you the best as well :)
Worst thing about it all is that individuality seems dead compared to back then. Every person you meet on the internet now is an almost carbon copy of someone else you already met many times. Doesn't help that they tend to be obnoxious as well.
>>84557105The "internet of old" was MADEThe only thing being MADE now is politislopso either you do it like the people who were there before, you MAKE something or you get what other people make.It doesn't comes out of thin air you know?
>>84557268the creature is thankful for the well wishes>>84557308the creature blames cringe culture and lolcow herding creatures. the creature believes they have made most creatures scared to standout or be different in any way>>84557327the creature needs other creatures to make it with tho. and other creatures are uninterested in the creatures experience
>>84557336>the creature needs other creatures to make it with tho. and other creatures are uninterested in the creatures experienceyou need to make the first steps for people to follow you
>>84557346the creature is an incompetent and dimwitted creature, incapable of such things
>>84557105The internet stopped being the internet and started being real life 2.0 at some point.
>>84557554Pretty much immediately when the iphone released and women could now use the internet. Women make everything fucking gay and lame

Don't worry too much, I'm building a new internet. It won't be forums exactly, but in a way it will be even better.
>>84557327Search engines aggressively deindex or censor websites they don't own or control. Cloudflare attacks websites that don't pay the toll. You can't make something anymore. Best case scenario they literally kill you. This has happened multiple times, it's not a joke. They are intent to make the internet bad and if you somehow succeed in making something they will use law enforcement or assassins to take you down.Internet is dead and gone. All we can do is archive as we enter the new dark ages. Data hoarders are like the Christians of the dark ages, they will be the only ones to save the world, if it is even possible saving at this point.
>>84557867>Best case scenario they literally kill you. This has happened multiple times, it's not a joke.Examples?
>>84557813yes, it's annoyingthe more words you type, the more spam techniques a robot would detect
>>84558014The spam filter is just a combo blacklist and limit to post numbers you can link to. Don't say any of the forbidden words and instead of replying to ten posts keep it to just four or five per post and it gets through. I regularly hit character limit in my posts but spam filter is rarely triggered, I change one single word and it passes.
>>84558180oh no, i was doing it wrong theni was replying a lot since it was a reply poemthanks for the advice anoni think it's exactly five posts from what i tried.
