Of course, I'll start the thread.1) I won't lie, maybe I don't watch that much media anymore but I feel like most black women representation in media is subpar. I have my own OCs which I like more than any established character. If I had to choose a character from a piece of media I actually consume... Missandei of Naath was cool but I'm going to choose Dr. Slone from Fortnite. Honestly a great character design and a great villain.2) Perhaps I framed this question dumbly, truthfully no one group of people can save society. But I think ultimately the individual can make choices to make their community a society a better place. I still consider my self a Booker T. Washington enthusiast, and even though he was concerned about the education of black folk I think his ideas of education and grassroots community service by teaching people to farm can help a lot of people today.
