Latin would probably be the easiest, because a well-read English speaker is familiar with Latinate vocabulary words in English, and we would only need to get used to the grammar. Whereas, in Old English the grammar would probably be more natural, but we would have to invent new terms for all the loanwords like how North Korea replaced loanwords with words of pure Korean etymology. Just simply using the Latin would be easier, and therefore I think this is the strongest argument for learning Latin. As a bonus, you'll be able to 'muh ancestors' every time you open a book written in latin and directly commune with them. Then we could shitpost in an online FORVM about what we've done.
