I never really did. i generally have always preferred like freckled white girls (celtic/british isles type) as an ideal phenotype (similar to my own). I just considered asian women on par with whites most my life, so I viewed them as a different form of beauty. i would say about 40% of my classmates throughout school were asian (was in a GT / scholars program - then engineering) so I was always around them too. Same thing with my general views/experiences with said races where i view upon northeast asian culture/society favorably as an alternative foil to the west. the main reason for having a partial preference is that white women/western women are on average overweight or trashy (with tattoos) increasingly. that's cultural though. That gradually pushed me more toward preferring asian women just due to having more traditional preferences of beauty as a whole. it's why i actually watch more asian porn if anything now, simply as the women look more normal and not trashy. any woman that is lighter skin colored, feminine shaped, old enough, and the appropriate weight for their height is likely enough to make me vaguely attracted to them (at least sexually).The only girl who really explicitly showed interest in me was half-asian. I still would prefer to date only within my own race as a preference, as I'd rather any kids I have carry on some traits (light eyes, reddish/blonde hair, etc. I wouldn't really decline an asian woman if there was shared overlap of interests and compatibility. I also travel to japan every couple years (friend married a japanese woman), so I can partially speak japanese and the like too. I dunno. I never considered myself a weeb, but I was always just more knowledgeable of things from Japan, China, Korea than most.
