Other than myself, who here actually has a job? Do you like it? Is it what you had hoped it'd be and/or worked toward?>I work in a warehouse>literally the opposite of why I went to university for 6 years>initially only wanted to do the job for a max of 7 months; next month makes 9 years
>>84563144do you drive a forklift?
>>84563144biotech r&d. I love it, much better than I thought it'd be
>>84563144I manage people. I get paid a lot and I work from home.
>>84563144I'm in uni for mechanical engineering, which I hate, but 2 years in might as well finish. I work full time as a lifeguard during the summer. It's a great job because I just sit in a chair in the sun all day and occasionally yell at some people for acting like retards, I only ever had to save 1 person. Funny shit also does happen sometimes. I worked as the guy that gets the carts from the parking lot at walmart for a year and full time for 6 months at wendys during my gap year after high school. I recommend shooting yourself if those are your only employment options.
>>84563144>I work as a psych NP in a small private practice clinic>literally the main reason why I went to uni for 6 years>just started in august>I love it. Much less stressful than working as a psych nurse, which almost killed me>everything I had hoped for>great location, insanely high pay like 20 grand a month, literal dream jobNow my only hope is that everything continues to go smoothly and not to fumble the bag.
>>84563144railroadi have no schedulei make 6 figuresi take my steam deck to the away-from-home terminal and am in the bar at 10 AM on a tuesday

>>84563144I got a construction job on monday, and got fired because I wasn't willing to work on the second and third level of scaffolding on my first dayThey didn't have any fall gear and I didn't have any training on working at heights. I didn't want to risk more for a cash day job
Why are you all so successful? I fucking hate you all of you
>>84563150Yes. Yes, I do. Sorry I got distracted; I'm watching RuneScape lore. Now, I'm going to go meditate.
>>84563221Why didn't you try harder in life?
>>84563144I work in a warehouse too. Mentally it's okay, but a bit physically taxing hauling car batteries and oil drums. I really ought to get a forklift certification and move to some other warehouse.
>>84563216my wagies are all highly paid engineers and they work remotely too.
>>84563144Marine electrical engineer. Almost topped at my position here with salary, will try to move somewhere else with better perspectives
Programmer for a financial company. Great pay and benefits and I get to work from home 50%.
Broke 3D artist. My last job was Burger King. I like working in fast food though, I find it fun, I also like cooking though so that's probably why, I usually work in the back.
