I have rusty pipes inside my apartment that can easily touch me accidentally so I am scared of tetanus ):
>>84565298Just cover them in bubble wrap
Tetanus usually lives in the soil it's unlikely to have tetanus if it's just an indoor pipe that hasn't touched dirt. Secondly, you should get a Dtap or whatever it's called booster every 5 or so years anyway. If you get that shot tetanus won't happen to you
>>84565408I don't remember if I have the vaccine so if I don't how likely is it that I will be ok ):
>>84565298just Wash the pipes and the bacteria for tetanus will die

>>84565582Tetanus thrives in soil and environments without air. Stepping on a nail that's outside in the dirt is a massive tetanus risk. Being scraped by a pipe that's indoors only is not much of a tetanus risk. You're probably going to be fine. I'd still try and get a Dtap booster if it's been 5 years or more. Most people have to have a booster for high school but you might be in another country or a state that didn't require it. It should be relatively cheap.
>>84565298Like a decade ago I cut myself on a piece of glass and it wasn't healing right so I started freaking out and researching my symptoms online and one possible diagnosis I saw was tetanus. So then I started feeling like my jaw was always clenching shut and I could barely open it even to eat or speak. Long story short I didn't have tetanus and it was all in my head.
